There is a "Winner Take All" process in operation that makes companies like IBM even bigger and movies that use established movie stars safer for studios and investors to make and so forth in any number of other examples. There was a book about it a couple of years ago.
Anyway, the corollary is that threads without much interest already don't get much interest. There must be enough of a demand to make the stock move up so maybe it will show up on more filtering screens and generate even more interest.
