Steve, I'm going to be honest and upfront like I always am (period). I got called by PC WEEK, followed by the Salt Lake Tribune this AM. I gave them the same response. From what I understand of this guy, he is not a "hi-profile" guy -- OUTSIDE OF THE INDUSTRY, and FINANCIAL community (yes, I believe they know him, or of him). I am also of the understanding, he rolls up his sleeves, and plays hardball. Again, the common question of the media --- "how long is the honeymoon period". I said 2 months. I figure this guy will (should) be working on that RIGHT NOW. The BOD is a separate issue, right? The org. under Schmidt, is another thing, right? To my way of thinking, "what is this guy going to 1) say to the industry and financial houses? and 2) what is he going to do about the org? Most of all. HOW FAST!...Joe...
