Why is the military a good target for NetBank? Account balances are likely to be
lower than they have been in the past.

For now... think longer term.

Military has a large base of young people which at some point in the future say 5-10 years will be moving into high income jobs. It is more likely for the young to get into NET banking and as such its a nice way to spread the seeds of the future and make some money at the same time ... win win weehaa : )
