On January 29, 1999, the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) issued a mandatory ten day suspension in the trading of the Company's securities because of issues that were raised as to, among other things, the adequacy and accuracy of publicly disseminated information concerning the business prospects and future earnings of the Company. The SEC also issued a subpoena requesting Company records.
Subsequent to the suspension order, the Company has received numerous requests for information regarding where the Company's securities are being traded.
It has come to the attention of the Company that the securities of the Company (cusip #285869103) currently can be traded on an electronic system operated by Instinet. The Company makes no representation about the volume of trading on any given day.
The Company has also recently announced the opening of its website, marketoutlet.com. Marketoutlet.com provides the Internet shopper the choice of shopping in over 40 retail stores on the Internet. Additional retailers are expected to be added in the near future.
