Mark, excellent post. I enjoyed reading you over on the DELL thread, and I am happy to find you here, as I begin to look at CMGI. Question: how does one put even a rough valuation on this company? Its their dominant position as an internet incubator, and their pipeline of current and future holdings which are the drivers here, no? Current earnings and even their current "recognized" portfolio would seem to be less important. How then does one determine what is a reasonable price to pay for this issue? Forgive my ignorance if this has all been thrashed out on the thread already. I'm a CMGI virgin. Cheers.
