Can you kindly describe "Last Mile" Last Mile refers to the final connection to an end user on a network. For example, I am sitting at home right now using a modem to connect to my ISP. I am using telephone lines for the last mile. Because I don't have a fast modem connection, this represents the bottleneck on my internet connection. What Lucius is referring to in "fixing the last mile" is getting end users like me faster connections to the internet, which would allow me to utilize the fibre optic lines that exist on the internet backbone.
