Yes, seems that hype turned out to be P.E. for some. (Not a reference to price/earnings.) Hope none of my friends here bought more based on that alone. But why doesn't someone else do the "rah-rah," -- apparently anyone can, right? Who cares who, how or why, just so the price goes up temporarily, so we can shoot and scoot, right? So what if longs get sucked into buying more based on dramatic/temporary hype rise... NOT!
I agree with you -- it's better to have the company stand on its own if you are a believer and are long, IMO. P/E, actual value will go the distance. As a believer, I'd rather prod the company for results and shareholder information than take the pom-pom cheerleader approach. If THAT approach must be used, I'm sure you'll agree, we'd be backing the wrong company.
I'm interested in statements regarding contractual aircraft purchases in the 3rd quarter. Anyone know if this is on track?
