Don't mean to "slam" Don't worry 'bout Lot Here's what we're taught Abraham's prayer got Lot out of "trouble" The angel's told Lot's to move "on the double" What transpired wasn't too nice For Lot's sins, he paid a terrible price His reasoning was "dulled" by his sinful surrounding His offers of hospitality aren't worth expounding Suffice to say T'was judgment day Lot had not Old Testament or New Testament to read He had no inkling of an apostles creed He was an entrepreneur, but a selfish man Abraham let Lot "choose" and Lot chose this "plan" The next thing we know, Lot is co-mingling & living in Gomorrah But then again, he never so much as had the "Torah" But when one compromises and embraces sin It only becomes a matter of "not if", but "when" So, Sam if you are an honest sinner and not an ornery sinner, You shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free.
