What an excellent post! My words, but put better than I could ever hope for. I see exactly the same change to my life, with the addition that I also do my work online.

The Internet HAS arrived and is going to stay and CMGI is one monster house to exploit this fact.

Having said that, I still believe that there are a lot of Internet stock out there that will have to adjust: AOL, as one poster pointed out, would have to sign up the world to stay at this price and with the way things are moving it's isn't likely to happen. Online shops like AMZN and EBAY with a concept that would take overnight to copy will have to give in and so would probably the portals (does anyone here still need/use portals? I know I don't other than the search engines from time to time)
