Yes, I guess Sugen was an outright buy... that will make a few folks happy, and this will help to get a few things moving... The Munch Thread--where some cold beers will be finally be served with the salty snacks today Subject 24574 Spent a nice day with my Dad yesterday, clamming and crabbing in one of the many retirement havens here in Puget Sound--over by Hood Canal. A nice little boom is going on over there, plenty of protected marinas and some nice lots with views of the water and golfing nearby...but that's another story. I was reminded yesterday that at a minus low tide, you can sometimes see that piers are rotted out--eaten out by the worms well below the water line. It's tricky navigating at low tide, but you can learn something, see where the hazards are etc. And you can be sure you tie up at the right spot--then when the flood comes in, you'll be in great shape. Well, things have been awfully slack here at low tide for the biotechs, especially the small early stage companies. I sure hope plenty of tasty morsels will sweep into the bay now that the tide is coming in. Of course I may have to pull a trap or two today however, and change the bait real quick. Or I may just sleep through the trading session--sure is hard to get back in a dayshift rhythm. --Capn' Midnight.
