I agree with your opinions.
Not having to sign-on to a computer to get your email is a huge convenience for people, especially those that are on the road all the time. Now they don't have to lug around the laptop.
I found something else really interesting about the marketing - Going after the good old teenager is super brilliant!! This group spends a ton of money on cell phones and beepers. They are not scared of the technology.
Also, FWIW, INTU announced an agreement with RocketCash, yesterday.
"This agreement between Intuit and RocketCash will create the opportunity for parents using Quicken.com to help their teens learn to responsibly manage their own finances.
Parents and teens using Quicken.com will link directly to co-branded original content on teen spending, and will have access to RocketCash, the first online gateway that enables Generation Y to shop and buy on the Internet in a safe, parent-approved environment. In addition, a Quicken.com/RocketCash account activity page will be developed, allowing parents to review the transactions of their children's RocketCash accounts."

Do you think this is a coincidence or is something else brewing behind the scenes between INTU & GMGC?
Still long and believing in the magic. Go Markman - throw us another bone!!
By the way, Seconds, what did you think of the new web site?
Straight Up
P.S. I am enjoying all the posts from the lurkers and silent GMGC followers. As one person suggested, I think we should get everyone we know to sign-up for MyTalk.
