Bought April 155 calls @ $6, do you have a shot ?

Yes, a shot. Probably not much more. You need $161; if the earnings are good, the stock could recover past that point, but it will probably take absolute blow-out earnings. I'm guessing that earnings will be about same as last quarter, and that the stock price will rebound somewhat. To go significantly past $161, however, it's going to take blow-out earnings, probably above $2.30/share. Possible, but not likely in my opinion.

The other possibility is an AMD disappointment in the K-6 announcement. I expect a 166 MHz immediately, in volume, and a 200 MHz announced for July time frame. I don't think this will impact either AMD or INTC if this happens.

As I mentioned in an earlier post, the K-6 is real, my company was offered a sample if we signed a non-disclosure agreement, which, for reasons beyond the scope of this message, we chose not to do. But if it was offered to us, it was offered to many other companies also.

Personally, if I buy options, I like to buy them further out.
