I fear for the future. The theft has gone on for a while now,
and by the time the $hit hits the fan, Clinton will be long gone.
It really is amazing. Where is justice? Why does crime pay?
Ethics and morality are at the bottom of the list of priorities for
too many people these days. Too many people are out for themselves
only. Too many people are willing to sacrifice the strengths of
this country to make a personal gain. Someday everyone will be
hurt by this, but the true reasons for the damaging effects of
people's selfish acts will be ignored by the majority. An example
of this can be seen already. Years ago there were some that warned
of the negative consequences of the breakdown of family values.
A direct consequence of this is evident in the dramatic increase
of crime among our youth. Drive by shootings, more gangs, and increased violence in public schools come to mind immediately.
The spin is for a distraction from this truth. The spin makes
decoys: violence in entertainment and gun availability for example.
It really is insane. I thought at one time that when the consequences
of moral decline would be realized, the conservative would be able
to say, "See, I told you so" with a victory of debate, but now I
see that even the obvious truths will remain obvious only to those
that are willing to accept truth. The truth is not painful for
liberals fighting for extreme gun control. The truth is not painful
for those liberals that have little concern for family values.
The truth is not painful for those that refuse to open their eyes.
