I, too, was a little surprised in the response to your email that there is little or no equity participation by mgmt.
Seems to me that ownership by them would a) give them even more incentive for the co. to continue to grow over the long-term; and b) they would quickly become motivated to see the stock price move up.
Little or know ownership by mgmt. doesn't send strong signals to investors that both parties are in the same boat.
I hope they take your message to heart.
