KJ,
You flatter me with your questions. My decisions are not based on any special reasoning. One thing that entices me to buy any stock is the future, and the co.'s role in it. When I bought ANCR, I had read lots of info about its product, and I thought data storage was quite important. I also read between the lines and consider the credibility of the writer. I also bought Dell because they were a new co. making pc's to order. I thought that was a terrific idea and it was affordable for me---$18. I also don't care about immediate gratification, but have the patience to wait for steady growth. I don't like to buy stocks that everyone else has bought because all the big MM's tell you to. Not that they're not good stocks, but because by then the price is too high, and I like to buy a co. that is just starting and the price is low, or that has bottomed out, but still is a good co. In fact, I love stocks when they are in the dumpster, if I can find someting I like about the co. I am not afraid of risking money on them. Don't want to bore you too much, but these are just simple reasons I buy. Don't most people? However, I did lose $300 once on an investment. Nancy
