coby, one thing i decided is i don't like to 'bet' on any one person running a company because they are 'good'...i prefer a franchise to a person, i.e. disney may be forever, but Mr E seems overpaid to me... i think the market is still gambling and ultimately, very tough to beat...if most mutual funds cannot beat the s and p, can us amateurs really be winning ? a buddy of mine bought cpq @ 50...he says he will hold, as its for his 'retirement'... i told him that's when he'll just see his 50 back, in 25 yrs when he retires... now he knows why i call his broker painLESS weber ike
