Greg, the type of service you are referring to is a 'core PC' service that offers config info, troubleshooting info, dirver and flash BIOS updates etc.. It's free to customers. A fee based service wouldn't work... those who have bought a PC from Dell have already paid for these basic services in the purchase price. It's the $300B ++ Technology Partner market that I'm referring to. It's strictly business centric... not consumer. It requires a direct relationship with the customer. The big money is made when a customer says, I need a server farm for heavy internet transaction processing. I need all the hardware, wiring, installation, testing, software and training. I also need advice and direction to wade through all of the new technologies being hurled into the marketplace. Which ones are relevant to my business and when is the best time to transition? MEATHEAD
