Hey, Lamar, I partially blew it on the Wavelength post on Qualcomm, I read as being a division of Q, but it is a separate company. It is using Q's CDMA, from what I can tell, to solve the "1000 foot" problem. Some of the questions you are getting into can best be answered by the tech guys on the Q thread, IMO.
By the way, one great advantage Q has is that it built IP software into its system from the start, so that it does not need a modem to go on the net. I can remember my son-in-law, years ago, working on the problem of wireless data transmission for them, when he started there.
Yes, Frank, we are coming back up the roller coaster again. Lets hope we end up higher this time. I am more concerned with CSCO finally breaking out than Q, Q is on the way to the moon, IMO.
I am really feeling vindicated in my decision to stay out of the "dot-com's", with the 43% meltdown of the nets in the last 2 months. I was envious of the bucks a lot of people on these threads were making late last year, but the net stock average is about back to where is was at the first of the year, overall, and the shakeout is still on, IMO. |
