Z, <<Won't be long now. >> Long for what? The digital VCR software solution rather than a TIVO or Replay solution seems to be a negative for Quantum, Seagate. One big, honking hard drive seems to support the home network initiatives of IBM and others at the expense of hard drive storage enabled components like TIVO and Replay. Home server with flash storage portables is my consumer hardware scenario. One hard drive per household. Paul
