Jaime: Although the early volume was a little light, the second and third half-hours of volume was fairly heavy. I did not see any serious dumping of stocks in the second half-hour. There was some but not a lot. In the following hour, volume slowed considerably. I guess it will be about 390 million at noon. That should give us an 800 million share day on the NYSE if this is a one-day event. If the final hour--especially half-hour-is heavy--it should strike fear into the heart of bears. My guess is that it will end with no more than 825 million on the NYSE. Much more than that, and it may ignore the Greenspeak we must endure tomorrow.
