Ill conceived and poorly executed, Divx never had a chance. And I'm glad to see it go. Now we can get on with selling DVD players without that asinine competing format. I'm beginning to see ads for DVD carousel players. Did they standardize a DVD audio format while I was asleep? Is it compatible with regular DVD players? Or are the carousels just to play audio CDs and video DVDs?
