<< I guess using your standards, the U.S. should dump the Vietnam Memorial, the Pearl Harbor Memorial, and also the various Civil War battlefield memorials >>

On the contrary, America will never be able to sufficiently repay the sacrifices of fathers, mothers, sisters and brothers who gave so much to serve and protect our country.

You misunderstood my point. The "Field of Blackbirds" was, to the Serbs, an honorable time in their past. Now, in that same region, the Serbs, instead of honorably defending their country, waged a war against innocent civilians, where they raped, looted, murdered and burned.

My question: Will the honor of the "Field of Blackbirds" be totally forgotten due to the current "Field of BlackDeeds and Shame"? How can Serbs point proudly to any honorable event in their past, after the atrocities they have committed in 1999 in Kosovo?
