Because cable modems are very expensive to buy and install, in multi-pc households I see the following Networking products by DIMD becoming a must in multi-pc households that switch to broadband. Many people I know have a Desk top and a laptop. I was very impressed when I read the following product line by Dimd. With the latest ruling I feel very good about Dimd now. I just hope they don't have another disappointing earnings report. Last time they were .10 below their estimate. Hopefully this time they'll have a low estimate that will be easy to beat
<<Diamond's HomeFree Wireless product, based on radio wave technology, provides shared Internet access and networked multi-player gaming. In addition, the product can be used to transfer files and share various peripheral devices, including printers, modems, Zip drives and scanners. Operating at 2.4Ghz, HomeFree Wireless delivers fast throughput speeds of up to 1 Mbps and passes connections through walls, floors and ceilings at a range of up to 150 feet. Diamond's HomeFree Wireless product uses multiple channels and spread-spectrum frequency hopping to minimize interference and maintain a level of security within the home. Two product configurations are available, including the "Desktop Pac" for connecting two desktop computers and the "Combo Pac" for connecting a desktop computer with a laptop.>>
