Hi Paul - Thank's for the response but I would suggest you diversify into a few of these "story" stocks rather than betting 4% of the portfolio on just one company and one concept. It is very difficult to determine which business model will work best with this emerging technology. I agree that video conference services and the Internet will merge as over all band width expands and there are large opportunities for the company that implements the right business model.

I just do not see VTEL's management making the necessary distribution agreements (like PLCM). It appears that VTEL is changing their focus to Internet streaming video & audio services and products. This is an exciting area and the cost to the investor is small compared to Real Networks.... BUT again management has not shown the capability to enter into any HUGE partnership or distribution agreements. They will need to get the attention of the Internet Web developer and to date they have done a lousy job.

Vtel's window of opportunity shrinks every day as Internet time spins on. PCTL is having a similar hard time transitioning their "stale" technology to this new medium.

I would say the downside risk remains low, perhaps a test back into the $3's but more importantly VTEL needs to get their streaming video products into the main stream.

Good luck with your investment. Be sure to ask management those hard questions about their forward business plan. I really have not seen anything that changes my opinion looking forward.
