ADBE..Doing better on YHOO calls and AOL but will be closing at least 8 out of the 12 calls and 12 out of the 15 on AOL since I also own 200 shares of AOL stock, if there is a hint of a selloff. But this time if I do go 'short' the OEX, or any net, I will sell before 4:00 and not hold overnight I hate to sell this one. Not holding through earnings is less of a dilemma lately and more of a 'rule of thumb'.. There is a report on earnings predictions (beating or not beating) from Individual Investor which is very 'loosely' put together, but he says "BUY" before earnings and hold. He figures if the company beats its an 'automatic' win, but he mentions nothing about anticipation or the dangers of a stock like JBL having some hidden 'danger' in the report. When the market is worse, the dangers increase. I held through earnings more in January through March/April than I am now. If the stock is a good one, you can manage multiple swing trades (i.e. TAN, BBY, CC) without risking a hold.
