>>D-Link 5 port switch: big thumbs up.

Auto sensing? Don't have experience with D-Link myself;
good to have the input, though.

5 ports is a nice number. For some reason, I always
need more than four <g>.

Of course, switching is not so important for us non-DSL
users :(. On the other hand, I have DSL ordered :).
However, it probably won't be in until Sept :(. It's
symmetric, though :). Unfortunately, it's slower than
I want - 160/160 :(. But it beats 56k :). However,
it's expensive (89.95) compared to 384/192 ADSL
from same ISP (59.95) :(. I'm a bit too far from
the station, but fortunately it's not a technical
limitation :). It's a legal one :(. Maybe soon I
will be able to upgrade service and drop price :).
If Flashcom wins suit against Bell Atlantic :(.

So we shall see. Maybe I'll be in the market for
a switch.
