Actually, since I work for the largest ISP in the world...I can respond to that directly. As enjoyable as the French find Minitel, it is a substandard product and they are not upgrading as quickly as the people would like.
Cegetel is making VERY important inroads here, and in the next 2-3 years, Minitel may become much smaller, as a proportion of users.
Look for Minitel to become an anachronism. Cegetel is the future.
