I suppose your talking about 8i again. Oracle will grow and it will have a strong internet presence. The one thing the Oracle thread doesn't seem to grasp is that database only accounts for about 40% of Oracle's business. The rest is essentially ERP (In the broad sense of the word) and ERP consulting. Database rev growth is in 25% range and it may increase to 30% or so next year. But the bulk of the ERP business has slowed to single digit growth. The majors are already for the most part ERP enabled so it may be difficult to grow that business anywhere near 30% in order to give overall growth of 30% and thus a fair PEG of 1 or so. That still leaves you with a rough fair value in the 37-40 range. If your looking for very strong returns, Oracle may not be the play for a couple of years. Rich
