Joe I agree. I guess the $64,000 question is should you anonomously send him your letter you received "its party time post" without compromising the person whom sent it to you if that is to be of concern. This might give the CEO a head start on cleaning out the "wood-pile" and the sooner all the better. I think the delay in the starting date is allow those persons who want to "abandon Novell's ship" a running jump. Also, it will give him time to recruit those at Sun who want to follow him to Novell. This announcement's effect will be in stages. How Brainshare is received and if he plays a role in presentations. What comes out of the Annual Shareholders meeting. If this guy does have credibility and is able to establish a plan within the year and Novell's stock is not back into the high teens or low twenty's in price then you might see a company make a buy-out bid to capture Novell's installed customer base.

I looked at the Sun Mirco. thread and it was dead their last post was March 7th. The posts revolved around concern of insider selling on the part of Sun's insiders. May be it is a stretch but the insiders were concerned about the departure of Novell's new CEO. Though, I doubt it.
