don, read "how to make money in stocks" by bill o'niel is doesn't get any better than that book. couple that with IBD subscription and get rich. you have got to take chances to make money. re: analysts. in jan. when crude was at 10 / barrel they all hated the oil drillers. i bought 2500 shares of pten(patterson energy) at 3.75. today it hit 10. they are all penguins and you can go opposite them in extreme situations. maybe you and fleckstien should do lunch and hold hands. capt. rocky ps. nas. up 100 + some bear market.
