Thanks so much for sharing the info, bruce, and for the website, Gus! Conversations like this are the main reason I don't call AXC IR except on rare occasions- too hard to come up with questions they'll answer! but this is some real news about the trial. One can only hope Mitsu will have a resounding defeat, see the handwriting on the wall, settle out of court for a very hefty sum and resume royalty payments. Or maybe they'll continue the same vein of stubborness they've exhibited thus far and get their hand slapped, their bottom paddled, and their ears boxed by AXC's much more important lawsuit and come out with even bigger payments.
However, since fundamentals (at least any resemblance of future ones) don't have a thing to do with the current pricing of this company, the question that eats at me pretty much constantly lately is: How low will it go? Having already determined it's "fundamental" value as 12-13 in a normal market, and having that confirmed by PA merchant group and Southern Cal radio WDC bull Jerry Klein that its at a half off sale currently, I've given up expecting logic to return anytime soon and boosting the price. Absent of any news, it seems inexorably pulled down day by day. Seen a chart since end of 96? Looks like a ski slope! Or the downside of the Matterhorn. Will it go to 5, 4, 3? Somehow with it skirting low 6's, lower even than it stayed at last fall, 5 seems not so far away. What sayeth TA? |
