[WSTL terminology]

<<<Westell is line code independent and produces products that best meet the price, performance and availability needed by customers. >>>

Bob --

This is the first time I've seen Westell use the term "line code independent," at least in the past six months. When they first announced they'd licensed CG, Bob Faw, Westell's president of global operations, said: "Several telecommunications service providers have stated their desires to implement standards-based DMT solutions for their DSL services." He didn't say they were line code independent, but instead sounded a little apologetic. . . sort of like, "The Devil made me do it."

This shows more willingness to step away from the CAP shadow and admit neutrality.

Just my take.

Regards,

Pat
