You are also very right about the tenor of the Yahoo! board. It has gone to pieces. I implored the intelligent folks to come over to SI (since the true village idiots can't afford the $60 fee and the heightened policing for violations of policy), but I was unsuccessful. Some of the better posters still post on the Yahoo! BIOM club, so you might still check that out.
