Hi Bob,

I tried to code 3-line break using Metastock - in the hope of system testing it. I ran into trouble because I need to track a "state" which affects the action when price crosses a "boundary" support or resistance level, and can change based on price movement. This state is an uptrend/downtrend flag. Effectively, you get:
Action = Function(State, Price, Upper/Lower Bounds);
Upper/Lower Bounds = Function(State, Price, Prev. Upper/Lower Bounds);
State = Function(Prev. State, Price, Prev. Upper/Lower Bounds);

I couldn't get MSWIN formulas to do this. I'd love to hear of others' success.
