Is your sound card a Creative Sound Blaster PCI64? They "supposedly" have legacy drivers that enable it wo work in dos, but as I have found with all of the products that I have bought from Creative, they dont work. I would suggest that if you really want to play dos games with sound, you go out and buy an old ISA sound card, install that allong with your current sound card, and then switch the speakers depending on what you are doing. This works for me. Oh, and one more thing, don't buy anything from Creative, they suck, they used to be able to make good sound cards, but there are better ones, and their graphic cards are useless.
