And I absolutely agree with those positions. Who wouldn't? Milosevic, Charles Manson, and Kim Jong-il probably agree with those positions. But there are no specifics.

I agree conservatism must be compassionate, and I think most of the time it is. But, loving conservatism means we have to make hard choices, and not just do what feels nice. Welfare reform would be a good example; the liberal solution actually makes things wore, but it feels good to be "compassionate". Bush doesn't seem willing to make those hard choices.
