You posted some information about the microdrive as it relates to Nikon, Kodak and Diamond Rio!...

The retail price of the Microdrive kit, which includes the 340 MB drive, PC Card adapter and case, is $499. The IBM Microdrives will be available in Japan and the U.S. in retail stores by early summer.

Let me know when the entry price is less than a megapixel camera and less than 4 times the cost of a Rio! I have no idea who would pay this much for storage. It clearly has no place in the consumer-targeted digicam or mp3 player market.
