I should direct this at KIS but due to the volatilty at open and the incertainty by the market makers in AOL options, the first AOL contract did not trade until 9:58 eastern time. I wonder how KIS closed his puts at the open and then bought calls right away when there was no bid or ask on the options and no trades. The option market makers were calculating implied volatiltiy for a bit before making a liquid market. The market makers have that right. If I were in their shoes, I would have done the same.
