I will respond fully this weekend.

Of course Rezulin decreases insulin levels compared to what they were before the diabetic patient took the drug. The notion of not increasing them as much was written poorly. I meant that relative to a nondiabetic patients insulin levels (i.e. normal insulin levels). I tried to not write this in medical jargon

Anyway, I agree with most of what you wrote, but I need to post some things. As I recall UKPDS, over >10 years I thought there was no weight increase with Glucophage, but I will recheck. I do recall some animal data about Amaryl not increasing insulin levels as much as other sulfonylureas. I will try to post it this weekend.

I think some PBMs like Express Scripts with their "YourPharmacy.com" will compete with PlanetRx. But I think I recall that Drugstore.com was able to fill prescriptions for something like 70 million PBM patients. I will recheck this last statistic.

I am not aware of any MCOs which would view PlanetRx as a competitor. Do you know something here that I don't?

I don't know how many Rezulin deaths there are. I would not even try to make an estimate. The link I posted gives several estimates, but they seem to vary depending on how you define your terms.
