Thanks for the advice, Mike M. You know how much I value your insight and input, so I will give it its due consideration.

Regarding the product feature announcement, I didn't comment when I read it but since you brought it up:
- they're announcing functionality now for availability in 9/99 (assuming they meet the project schedule) but the functionality is already available in competitive products (see for example www.acuity.com). 3 months is a long time in this industry, and let me assure you others are not sitting still
- this is "me-too" functionality, not necessarily a competitive differentiator. You'll notice they didn't really crow about it. In all likelihood they are seeing RFPs that require complete CRM functionality for eCommerce, so they had to announce something.
- unified queueing has been around for a while. If you talk to people who have actually tried it, it doesn't work too well. It takes significantly different skill-sets to interact with customers on the telephone than via the written word. The statement ...Agents in the CIC are more fully utilized... is wishful marketing-speak.
- I would not at all be surprised if they were to announce within the next 3-6 months their plans to incorporate some kind of "live chat" functionality.
