I just read an article about bottom-fishing which stated: Whenever we're talking about a company with a great future that's not going out of business, then when bad news is exaggerated, damage very temporary, irrelevant in the longer term and/or when the market is rallying the chances are excellent that bottom-fishing and a little patience will pay off big-time. recent example ORCL (much maligned recently) a good one. PFE another one. Choice nets in general. I still don't understand the company DRIV (haven't done my DD) but you're probably right on that. And that baby can move. Others I'm going to watch are IATV, FATB. I've already mentioned those bottom-feed candidates which I hold, SDFTI, BEBE, BNBN, DCTI, CHRZ, ELNK, WIND. ONEM dropped 65% recently but made a 22% move up today. Now if only my others would do the same.
22% a day would put me in a much better mood than I'm in, especially after dumping my LARGE block of Oracle two weeks ago on that one-day earnings warning scare. Who put that out? I feel like going out and murdering him. I held 4 months and ended up selling at a loss at 23. UGGGH! And I knew it was a great stock too. Vent, vent, vent. Would have made $7,200 today on it. |
