To all, Good news for the WINTEL platform. We have spoken about the INTEL HP alliance on MERCED. It appears that MSFT will formalize its alliance with HP tomorrow. This will just about complete the loop. MSFT, INTEL, HP and CISCO - a technology dream tream if there ever was one. Let's see what comes out tomorrow. HP, Microsoft to partner Hewlett-Packard may increase commitment to Windows NT March 18, 1997: 9:52 a.m. ET NEW YORK (CNNfn) - Microsoft Corp. is expected to announce a broad computer partnership agreement with Hewlett-Packard Co. Wednesday. The Wall Street Journal reported Tuesday that as part of the new alliance, Hewlett-Packard will increase its commitment to the Windows NT operating system.
