COMPAQ: Mercedes-Benz selects Compaq Work Expeditor
JUN 17, 1999, M2 Communications - Compaq Work Expeditor has been selected by Mercedes Benz as part of its overall customer relationship management (CRM) strategy. Compaq Work Expeditor will manage all incoming and outgoing interaction with Mercedes Benz customers, via fax, phone call, letter and e-mail. Compaq Work Work Expeditor provides intelligence to Mercedes Benz documents (customer interactions) that comes into the system, allocating the document to appropriate resources and making a complete track of its whereabouts available to CSR's (call centre representatives). Through Compaq Work Expeditor Mercedes Benz has achieved an almost paperless call centre.
Compaq today announced that the Mercedes-Benz Customer Assistance Centre has selected Work Expeditor, Compaq's document management and workflow software product for Microsoft Exchange.

The Mercedes-Benz Customer Assistance Centre (CAC) in Maastricht, the Netherlands, will serve as a central customer contact point in Europe, taking care of all customer needs in 17 European countries, 12 languages, 365 days a year, 24 hours a day. To manage its communication and data needs, Mercedes-Benz CAC developed an application based on Siebel and Microsoft Exchange. To handle this daily flow of letters, faxes, and e-mails efficiently, Mercedes-Benz CAC chose Compaq Work Expeditor. Work Expeditor, a document and workflow management solution that integrates with Microsoft Exchange and Outlook, will enable the organisation to gain better control over correspondence business processes and speed operations.
