Trippi--Yeah, the single OEM acting as a catalyst scenario seemed most likely to me, as well, and I still think that it COULD happen, but your new theory seems more persuasive: that we will--if we're to be successful--be the standard set by a consortium of companies forming around a client-side/hardware solution.

Still, if I were the head of Gateway or Compaq or Dell and wanted to make a giant splash that separated my boxes from those of my competitors, I'd be sitting next to Peter and Steven Sprague at a press conference announcing my plans to deploy their chip as soon as possible. Why that scenario hasn't happened remains a mystery to me, and probably always will.

You were (painfully!) right about your prediction to me at the WAVX DC dinner that relisting would (short-term, anyway) cause a drop in the price of our stock, contrary to all of the extremely optimistic predictions from virtually everyone else on these threads, and so I take what you say very seriously.
