I think that most women feel the way you do. It's men who mind the physical infidelity more than the spiritual infidelity.

I think that has to do with allocation of resources. Men who stay in a marriage relationship to raise children really get ripped off if the children are not really theirs. Women, on the other hand, choose mates who are good providers, and if their mate starts taking care of another woman, then they feel ripped off. But I think that a husband may actually benefit if his wife has an additional source of resources, as long as she is not cuckolding him.

It all sounds so unromantic when you look at it this way.
