OFF TOPIC ...

Hmmm....Maybe it's time for the thread to take a collection for you to take some serious time off.

I don't want or need anyone to help pay for my vacations. What would help though, is if people could look after my account when I'm away. Maybe I should just post my account numbers and passwords, and let the thread take care of my trades for a while.

Cheers, PW.

P.S. I posted this in jest, but after giving it some thought, I wonder just how well, or poorly, my investments would do if I actually did this. There's plenty of evidence that the sayings about too many cooks spoil the meal and that anything done by committee is poorly executed, but, on the other hand, details seldom get missed when many eyeballs are focused, and if two heads are better than one, how much better can several heads be? People who join investment clubs and discuss their plans and have their ideas exposed to the critical examination of the other members usually do quite well.

P.P.S. I'm up an hour earlier today. The sleep depravation's showing.

P.P.S. If I could get a grant to study this, say $500,000 to start, I could open an accout with, say $100,000 and see what happens. Win, lose, or draw, I'd still be $400,000 ahead, and maybe finally finish my doctoral thesis to boot.
