David, sorry, but at this time I don't know. In fact, I'm not even sure about which space you're referring to (Cable or PSTN/WAN?).
In the evolving Internet/PSTN/WAN space, it once looked as if some combination (depending on point solution required, when the state of the art was still component level, i.e., discreet elements, and not integrated) of VOCL, LKON and another private company (someone help me here with the name... was it ???) looked like some early possibilities. T has a lab in NJ constantly refining this area, and I don't know what they have up their sleeves at this time. Maybe someone else can offer more information on this.
Of course, the longer they wait to deploy something meaningful, the more likely it is that they will come to depend on the larger players like NT, LU and CSCO, who are all scaling up in the VoIP space with integrated solutions to meet the more robust set of requirements presented by the larger ILECs and IXCs.
