TEMPE, Ariz., Jun 17, 1999 (BUSINESS WIRE via COMTEX) --
Article: Access Power, $10 Flat Rate Voice Over Internet Service

Access Power Advanced Communications (OTC BB:ACCR), recently announced
that it is offering a $10 flat rate Voice over Internet long distance
service in the U.S.

Access Power competes directly with traditional long distance carriers
such as AT&T (NYSE:T), MCI WorldCom (NYSE:WCOM) Sprint (NYSE:FON).

Access Power has achieved key milestones in the last few months such as:

-- Establishing a National IP telephony network in the US and Canada
-- Signing a letter of intent to receive $6 million to $10
million of new investment
-- Offering a $10 Flat Rate long distance service on its network
-- Offering customers to try their network for free until July
4 to prove its service
-- Signing Co-Marketing Agreements to market its services to over
1 million potential customers as follows:
-- SimplyTV's 930,000 customer base
-- Customer base of a National ISP
-- Infomedia's 44,000 subscribers
-- Riparius Ventures Inc.'s 50,000 base
-- CTDepot.com's website visitors

Based on the above milestones, Access Power has the ability to
aggressively compete with companies such as IDT (NASDAQ: IDTC),
Netspeak (NASDAQ: NSPK), VocalTec Communications (NASDAQ: VOCLF).

These competitors are valued at between $100 million and $600 million,
while Access Power is valued at only $15 million - why the wide Gap? In
most cases, it is due to lack of research coverage on the company and
its accomplishments. As the public is made aware of a company's
accomplishments, the valuation moves closer to the industry average.

Access Power's customer growth rate may be quite significant based on
their Co-Marketing Affiliate agreements. History shows that when the
public becomes aware of a more affordable service, customers tend to
rush to purchase theservice.

An excellent example of this is America Online (NYSE: AOL). Years ago
while the ISP industry was billing per hour for access, AOL introduced
the flat rate Internet access service. In only a few years AOL's
customer base grew to over 18 million users, and a company valuation of
over $100 Billion.
