The one I have is a GEMORO brand.
The eye pieces are marked 10X and there is another setting/adjustment for 1x and 3x. So, I guess it would be either a
10X or 30X.
My opinion, is that microscope can be overkill in many cases. If your just doing general looking at coins.. a good hand held 3x or 5x magnifying glass work well.. I use a B&L for my daily "tool" in fact I seem to have they lying all around here.. For closer examination use a good 10X glass.. I'm no expert on mag. glasses, but, it seems that the expensive 10X hald held loops give aobut the same mag. power as the cheap 16X ones you see.. Those 16X are good to for the average user.
It kind of depends what one wants to look at. Lighting can make a difference too.
