I've wondered about that myself. The contribution money is supposed to be spent on campaign related expenses like tv ads, and there is supposed to be a strict accounting of the spending of the money, but this bunch hasn't been acting very accountable. The DNC is supposed to return all of the tainted money, but I read that they were in debt and couldn't pay it back. I find it interesting that the DNC returned many tainted donations because they determined that the donor could not have possibly come up with that kind of money. So the DNC gave the money back to the person whom they determined never had it in the first place. Go figure. Investigators should follow the money trail to see if the straw man donors returned the money to the original supplier of the cash. I want names made public so we can know exactly who was pulling the strings of this White House, and the DNC. I am sure that personal enrichment of the players resulted from foreign aid kickbacks. One suspicious event is the Mexican Peso Bailout. Huge sums of money were shipped to Mexico on the orders of the President, acting unilaterally. This money made a u-turn and came right back to Wall Street, much of it through one of the largest firms on Wall Street, and the biggest dealer of Mexican bonds, Goldman Sachs. Goldman Sachs just happens to be the former firm of Treasury Sec'y Rubin, who was chosen to replace Bentsen right before the bailout. How much of that money was funneled back to Rubin and his buddies in the WH? This is speculation, but I find it suspicious. What were the trips to Switzerland by Vince Foster all about? I doubt if much skimmed money is going into blue chips or red chips - too easy to trace - but I'll bet that a few Swiss bank accounts teeming with Swiss francs have the names of top Democrats on them. The Chinese probably have invested a lot of money in those same Swiss accounts as well. Of course, the DNC and the WH are being perfectly honest - but their definition of an honest politician is that once a politician is bought, he stays bought.
